Ernest Wayne Crabb

Ernest Wayne Crabb, 91, passed away Wednesday April 3, 2024. He was born on November 10, 1932 in Speaks, TX to Ernest and Lorena Kubala Crabb.  He spent most of his adult years in Morales, TX where he loved to rope and ride his horses. He married his late wife, Margie, on February 7, 1953.  He is survived by his children Sherri Utz, Jack Crabb and wife Joy, John Crabb and wife Pam, and Theresa Wilke and husband Trey.  Affectionally known as Dadaw, he leaves behind his grandchildren, Jason Utz and wife Allyson, Justin Utz and wife Kari, Jacob Crabb, Jayme Bures and husband Matthew, Jeremy Crabb and wife Krystal, Jess Crabb and wife Mallory, Jordan Crabb, Jamison Wilke and Jansyn Wilke; great-grandchildren, Barrett Utz, Carson Utz, Alexis Utz, Avery Utz, Kaylee Crabb, Tyler Crabb, Logan Bures, Kole Bures, Madisyn Bures, Bearen Bures, Karter Crabb, Jaxon Crabb, and Jagger Crabb and sisters Yvonne Long and Barbara Kirby. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Margie Crabb, son-in-law Morris Utz and 2 infant grandsons, Steven Wesley Sample, Jr. and John Charles Sample.  Visitation will be 9:30am-10:30am Saturday April 6, 2024 at the Church of Christ with the funeral service beginning at 10:30am.  Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Edna.  Pallbearers will be Jason Utz, Justin Utz, Jeremy Crabb, Jess Crabb, Jacob Crabb and Matthew Bures.  Services have been entrusted to the Todish family of Slavik Funeral Home.
